Holy Name Dartball League - Milwaukee

Edward "Specs" Drewek played Dartball from the late 1950s until around 1997, initially with the Holy Name Dartball League in Milwaukee until 1985, and then with the Washington Park Senior Center League in Milwaukee.  In the Holy Name Dartball League, he won 14 high average trophies, averaging over .500 in at least 13 seasons (one trophy doesn't show his average), with a high average of .597.

He also won four high average trophies in the Washington Park Senior Center League.  He was a member of numerous championship teams, all star teams, and received a service award for his role as a league officer..

As he left for his league night, his sons would say "Lots of runs, lots of hits, win three games" for good luck.  When he passed away in 2004, we included those words in his obituary.

Nominated by his sons Dan, Tim, Bill, and Mark Drewek
