Bruce has always been a strong proponent for the game of dartball, managing numerous league and tournament teams, bringing additional players into the game.
He also has a long history of being one of the top hitters in each league played in as well as being a a respected teamate and opponent.

Bruce is a wonderful teammate to play dartball with for numerous years. He has been a great leader for the dartball community & all he has done to make the game better for everyone. Even after all these years he is still a terrific dartball player & gets those clutch hits when his team needs them!

Bruce got me started in dartball on the Shepherd of the Hills dartball team. I learned so much about the game from playing on his team. After years of playing for him I decided to start my own team and he was the first guy I called to be on my team. Cause I knew he would always be there for me if I had any questions or needed any help. Through the years he's always been the guy I know will be there if it's a league night or any tournament. He just loves the game. It doesn't matter what spot in the order he hits from 1 to 9 he'll do anything to help the team. He's a true team player. If you ask him how he did last night he will always start by saying how the team did first. He's a great captain, teammate, train painter, and chocolate chip banana bread maker. When I think of the dartball Hall of Fame l think of Bruce!

I just wated to take a minute here and tell you what a great candidate Bruce would be for the Hall of Fame as he is the one that got me started in Dartball. Bruce was the one who encouraged me to get all my brothers, father and friends to join a team and start playing with him in the Tuesday Luthern League on the Shepherd of the hills dartball team and we have been hooked ever sence. Bruce taught us the game and the fun we can all have and the importance of team work and how to have fun playing Baseball with Darts. Bruce has continuesd to support us as we have been on many different teams together and traveled to several tournaments as well over the years. Bruce is constantly recruiting more people to play Dartball and and in one league he continues to go and pick up players and drives them to all locations so they can continue to play when they are not able to drive any longer, Bruce is a real team player and always encourages everyone to give the game a try. Besides this, Bruce is a a real nice guy who is an excellent artist "Train Man" and has been my friend for many years and I know would be very happy to be in the Hall of Fame and would be a great addition to all who are there already.
Thanks,

Bruce has been playing this game for so long that after he signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776, he set up a board and challenged John Hancock to a dartball match.
But seriously, Bruce has been a dartball fixture for a long time. His longevity and his success and statistics speak for themselves. But more importantly, he loves the game. It is obvious if you ever talk to him because dartball is one of the three things he will always want to talk about (the other two being his family and, of course, trains).
I am honored that I have been able to play with Bruce. He is a model teammate and friend. He is the epitome of a Hall of Famer and exemplifies the combination of success, humility, longevity and advocacy and love of the game that we should all be striving towards. I believe he has earned this honor and I truly hope that the committee grants it to him.
Thank you for your consideration.
