Sacred Heart Friday Night

Kevin grew up learning the love of the game of dartball.  Watching both his parents (Dave and Judy Kiesow) play.  He has many fond memories watching them play both locally and at many tournaments.  Kevin started playing dartball in 1984  at the age of 11 in the basement at Sacred Heart Catholic School on Friday nights with his dad, brother, uncles and cousins.  Kevin has played in the Sacred Heart Friday night league starting in 1984 and continues to this day.  While he has been playing in the Friday night league, he held the office of Secretary from 1996 – 2004.  Then became President in 2004 and still is.  Kevin also played in a Monday night Lutheran League from 1990 to 1999.  While in that league he was President from 1996 to 1999.  He also played in the Sacred Heart Thursday night 4 Man league from 1991 to 2006.  He was VP of that league from 1991 to 2006.  Kevin also played in the St. Vincent’s Thursday Night league from 2007 to 2010 and still subs. Kevin’s Highest Average while playing has been .548 during the 1997-1998 season.  Many seasons he has shoot between .510 and .530.  Kevin has run a year end tournament since 2003 for the Friday night league, which has been named after his father Dave Kiesow.  He was tournament director of the Oshkosh City tournament held at the VFW from 1998 to 2001.  Kevin then had the honor of joining the State Committee in 2005.  Kevin was excited to run the State Tournament in Oshkosh in 2006 at Lourdes High school.  Then again in 2013.  In 2019 the tournament became so large Kevin held that year’s tournament at the Oshkosh Area where the Herd play.  This years Tournament will also be held there.  Kevin also ran the State 4 man tournament in 2010 at Sacred Heart School.    Kevin won championships at the Eagles tournaments in 1991, 1994, 1996, 2006.  Kevin has also won Class A State Championships with the Castaways in 1990 with his dad and brother.  Then in 2012 Kevin joined his brother on Pete and Son’s and won class A State Championships in 2012,2013, 2014, 2016,2018 and 2023.  He has won dozens of league championships, along with many high team awards. Kevin is an ambassador for the game.  He has always wanted to watch it grow including in league and state level.
