Charlie Wendorf

(Deceased) Lived in Waukesha.

Started playing Dartball at age 38 in 1939. Played in Milwaukee leagues for 31 years. He was a lifetime .520 hitter, and won a state championship in 1948 with the Northside Lutheran team. He was a great ambassador for the game of Dartball, and passed his love of Dartball onto his children and grandchildren, 17 of which went on to play in various leagues.

Dick Goldberg

Lives in Franklin.

Started playing Dartball at age 18 in 1956 in Milwaukee area leagues, and played twice a week for most years. He was a team manager and division director, as well as a league secretary. His highest season average was .565 (1988-89).

George McFadden Sr.

(Deceased) Lived in Eau Claire.

Started playing Dartball in 1947 and was instrumental in putting EauClaire on the Dartball map. He was a League President for 28 years, and managed the powerful McFadden’s Trucking team to 7 state championships in a 15 year span. He also served on the Wisconsin Dartball State Committee for 17 years.

Goble Shelton

(Deceased) Lived in South Milwaukee.

He has played Dartball for over 60 years in several Milwaukee leagues. Averaged over .550 for many consecutive years, with his highest season average of .623 (1977-78).

Jay Stegmann

Lives in Door County.

Started playing Dartball at age 19 in the Door County League, which he still plays in. Jay also played in Milwaukee for 11 years, and in the Green Bay League for 6 years. He has been on 12 Class A state champions: Andre's (1989), Sauves (91,94,96,99-02) and Pete & Sons (2012, 13,14 & 16). He was also named to the all tournament team in a Pennsylvania Interstate Tournament. With a lifetime average of over .560, his highest season average was .611(1999-2000).

Jerry Juckem

Lives in Chilton.

Started playing Dartball at age of 19 in Chilton. He was the first in his family to start playing Dartball, and now many of his family members play every week. He still plays in the Interdenominational League as he has for over 40 years. His team won the league title over 20 times, and he won the high average title over 25 times. He was also on 7 class A state champions, all with Sauves. Jerry’s highest season average was .650 (1985-86).

Jim Kubinek

Lives in Amherst.

Started playing Dartball at age 23 in 1970 in New Berlin with his Dad. Played in several Milwaukee area leagues. Jim also played in many tournaments over the years, and won a state championship in 1982 with the Dartball News team.  His highest season average was .595 (1983-84)

Ken Fare

(Deceased) Lived in Milwaukee.

Ken grew up in Milwaukee and most recently lived in Muskego. His dedication to Dartball started early, when Ken began playing at age 15 in 1971 in several Milwaukee Leagues, including the Catholic Blue & Gold League. Ken also played in the West Allis Classic 9-Man League, the Milwaukee Thursday night Tavern League, and the South Milwaukee Hickory Inn 4-Man League, of which he served as President for a number of years. Ken was the manager of 2 State Championship teams - First Class (Milwaukee) in 1992 (Class A) and Oak Manor (South Milwaukee) in 2009 (Class B). His many high-average seasons peaked at .612 in 1983-1984. Ken died of a sudden heart attack at 53 on August 8, 2009. 

Ken Nelson

Lived in East Troy.

He played in several Milwaukee and Racine Leagues, and was always considered a true team player. He won his only state championship in 1982.  Highest season average was .619 (1985-86).

Mike Wendorf

Lives in Waukesha.

Started playing Dartball at age 13 in 1973. He is the Grandson of Charlie Wendorf, and got interested in Dartball by watching his father and Grandfather play. Mike quickly became a top hitter, and had his highest season average of .665 in 1977-78. Mike is a 5 time Class A state champion, all with Hickory Inn. He continues in the long line of Wendorfs that have been playing Dartball in Wisconsin since 1933!

Rodger Miller

Lives in Elk Mound.

Started playing Dartball at age of 14 at Springbrook Church. He played in Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley for many years. Was on 8 state tournament champion teams, most with McFaddens Trucking. He averaged over .521 for 25 straight years, with his highest season average of .627 (1965-66).

Romie Olen

Lived in the Milwaukee area.

Played in 5 different Milwaukee area leagues at one time or another. Played in many tournaments, and was known as a top lead-off batter.  Won 5 state championships, all with Allen-Bradley teams of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. he had 21 seasons with a recorded average over .550, with his highest season average of .627 (1978-79). Romie's plaque was accepted on his behalf by his Grand-Nephew Paul Oleniczak.

Steve Walter

Lives in Oshkosh.

Started playing Dartball at age 14 in 1967. Played in Oshkosh leagues for over 30 years, winning numerous league championships. He was a league secretary for about 10 years. He won 2 Class A state championships with Oshkosh teams. Highest season average was .611 (1975-76). He joins his brother Tom as a member of the Dartball HOF.

Terry Vitlas

(deceased) Lived in Wind Lake.

Terry played for many years in the Muskego league, and batted over .600 at least 10 seasons, with a highest season average of .665, which he did twice. Was on The Class B state champions Bourdos in 2002.
